Defence Expo 2022 and Vayushakti 2022 postponed
Government has postponed the upcoming Defence Expo 2022 in Gujarat. The release by Government said. “Due to logistics problems being experienced by participants, the DefExpo 2022 proposed to be held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat from March 10th till March 14th is postponed. The new dates will be communicated in due course.”
Futher the Vayushakti 2022 exercise has too been postponed by IAF. The Indian Air Force (IAF) has postponed the 2022 edition of ‘Vayu Shakti’ that was scheduled to be held at Rajasthan’s Pokhran test facility on March 7, officials familiar with development said on Friday.
This comes as an abrupt decision as just a day before preparations were in full swing. Some commentators stated that the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict might be a reason or their might be a possibility of another flare up with China along India-Tibet border.
