The author is having 16 years of dedicated service in the Education Department, Government of Jammu & Kashmir. His present assignment is as Teacher at the Tribal Hostel under the Department of Tribal Affairs, J&K Govt.

He has also served as Coordinator in the Office of District Magistrate, Bandipora, where he played a key role in Tourism Promotion, Cultural Outreach Programmes, Youth Engagement Initiatives, Tribal Welfare and Strategic Communication for the district administration. He writes regularly on issues concerning education, tribal society, governance and J&K affairs.
