Served in Indian Air Force for 20 years. He hold 5 academic degrees in various disciplines of engineering and management, also holds diploma/certificates in more than 40 different types of courses. He has hands-on experience in aviation technology, having worked on SU-30MKI, Mig-21, Boeing 737 and other aircrafts. During his tenure in the services he participated in 1999 Kargil war ensuring 100% serviceability of aircrafts during war time.
