IADN Strategic Focus Magazine September 2023
The IADN is India’s top defence and strategic news and analysis website. On the occasion of its 10th year in service, the IADN launched E-magazine called “IADN Strategic Focus.” The monthly magazine is a recap of all the happenings in the defence and strategic sector and policy briefs in the form of E-publication.
The September edition celebrates the newest variant of transporter the C-295 MW formal induction into the Indian Air Force (IAF), a milestone update in IAF’s inventory. In the year 2021, India placed an order for 56 C-295 aircraft. Out of 56, the first 16 ‘C-295 aircraft’ are set for delivery by 2025 in ‘fly-away’ condition. The rest 40 aircraft will be indigenously manufactured by Tata Advance Systems Limited (TASL) under the joint development program between Airbus and TASL.
The edition also covered the Bharat Drone Shakti 2023 event, a first-of-its-kind drone exhibition cum display was inaugurated by Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh at Air Force Station, Hindon in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh on September 25, 2023.
