IAF to send Su30MKI in Exercise Pitch Black 2024

The Indian Air Force (IAF) is once again showcasing its combat prowess on the international stage, participating in Exercise Pitch Black 2024 in Darwin, Australia. This biennial multinational air combat drill, hosted by the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), brings together air forces from around the world to hone their skills in complex scenarios.

For Pitch Black 2024, the IAF has deployed a contingent of four of its formidable Sukhoi Su-30MKI fighter jets. These highly maneuverable and versatile aircraft, known for their powerful engines and advanced avionics, will be put to the test in a range of challenging missions.
