The Recent Agni-5 Missile Test Shows Hypersonic Glide Vehicle (HGV) Characteristics

The pictures came from the recent Agni 5 missile test doesn’t seem to be a standard ballistic missile test.

The low velocity of the missile indicates its quasi-ballistic role which is usually depicted by a Hypersonic Glide Vehicle rather standard ballistic missile launch.

For reference, images of the Chinese DF-ZF Hypersonic Glide Vehicle (HGV) launched in 2018, are attached with the post.

The Agni 5 missile which was tested today was showing the same launch characteristics as seen in the DF-ZF HGV launch in 2018.

The missile was traveling at such a low level that it was spotted across the North Eastern states and also from Myanmar and Bangladesh which add relevance to this fact.
